Be part of the future of obstacle sport and modern pentathlon by becoming a National Judge (Level 1) in the short course obstacle event and laser run.  This certification will qualify you to act as an official for OCR and laser run at all MPA events, and at the Community OCR World Championships at Ivory's Rock in May 2026.  

Please note that the theory and exam will be ONLINE, but the practical assessment will be conducted in person at Ivory's Rock, Qld.  

Requirements:

• Aged 18+
• Working with Children Check (volunteer) or equivalent
• Member of MPA or State Association (official/volunteer membership is free

Course details:

•  Theory (approx 2-3 hours) and multiple choice exam (<1 hour) will be made available online 10-15 May 2026
•  Practical assessment (1/2 day) will be conducted before or during the OCR Community World Championships and the Qld OCR Laser Run Championships at Ivory's Rock in Qld (20-23 May 2026) - you will be asked to nominate your preferred day/time once we have confirmed entries.
