2027 National Selection Policy Released

Modern Pentathlon Australia (MPA) has released its 2027 National Selection Policy, outlining the requirements and criteria for athletes seeking selection to represent Australia at international competitions throughout the 2027 season.

Athletes are encouraged to read the policy carefully and familiarise themselves with the eligibility and nomination requirements.

Key points to note:

• Nomination forms must be submitted by 31 October 2026. Links to the relevant nomination forms can be found in Appendix 1 of the Selection Policy.
• Baseline eligibility criteria are outlined in Section 1 of the policy.
• Depending on the event for which an athlete is seeking selection, additional event-specific criteria may apply. With the continued expansion and diversity of UIPM event offerings, these criteria have been separated into individual appendices to ensure they are relevant to each event.
• Domestic event attendance requirements apply, unless otherwise stated in the policy.
