Australia Names Team for UIPM 2026 Pentathlon World Championships

Modern Pentathlon Australia (MPA) is pleased to announce the Australian team selected to compete at the UIPM 2026 Pentathlon World Championships, to be held in Guiyang, China, from 24–30 August 2026.
The World Championships will bring together the world’s leading modern pentathletes as they compete across fencing, obstacle, swimming and laser run in one of the premier events on the international calendar.
The Australian team for Guiyang is:
- Aleska van Heekeren
- Nick Odgers
- Oliver Clapham
- Kai Klisanin
- Levi Tubailagi
The team features a blend of experienced senior athletes and emerging talent, highlighting the continued strength and depth of Australia’s high-performance pathway.
Modern Pentathlon Australia also acknowledges the withdrawals of Calypso Sheridan and Dean Daubaras from the team.
MPA congratulates all selected athletes on earning the opportunity to represent Australia on the world stage and wishes them every success as they prepare for competition in Guiyang.
