Australian Women Take on Strong Field at Budapest World Cup

Australia’s women were in action at the UIPM World Cup in Budapest, Hungary, with Calypso Sheridan and Aleska Van Heekeren competing against a world-class field in the qualification rounds.
Competing in Qualification C, Calypso Sheridan produced a strong all-round performance to finish 28th with a total of 1,349 points. Sheridan was particularly impressive in the obstacle discipline, recording the third-fastest time in her qualification group with 27.60 seconds to score 363 points. She also dominated the pool, posting a time of 58.40 seconds — the fastest swim in Qualification C and the second-fastest swim across all women’s qualification groups.

In Qualification B, Aleska Van Heekeren finished 32nd with a total of 1,166 points, gaining valuable experience at the senior international level and showing determination across all four disciplines.
