Modern Pentathlon Australia (MPA) is the national sporting organisation for the Olympic sport of modern pentathlon and pentathlon multisport in Australia.  It is an exciting time for the sport, with the introduction of obstacle course racing opening the sport up to new audiences and athletes. It's also an exciting time to become a director, with much of the groundwork laid to take the organisation into the future.

The Role

Nominations are currently being sought by MPA from suitably qualified and eligible individuals who wish to be considered for election as a Director of the Board.  

MPA is committed to maintaining a balanced and skills-based board. The board is seeking nominations for 3 elected director positions (each for a 3 year term) with the following experience and skills:

• Senior business experience and strategic planning
• Accounting and finance (including acquittals and grant reporting)
• Legal
• High performance sports experience (coaching, competing, selecting or administration)
• Marketing/digital
• Preferably at least 2+ years' experience serving on a board at state or national level

All nominations will be reviewed by MPA's Nominations Committee.

Elections will occur at MPA's AGM on Wednesday, 21 May 2025.  Successful candidates will be expected to commence in their posts following the AGM, with an induction/handover to be provided as required.
