What you'll get

Who you are:

• aged 18+
• valid, current Working with Children Check (volunteer category)
• completed MPA's National Judging Certification Program (online training and exam components for OCR and Laser Run - approx 4 hour commitment at a time that suits you - details available here - cost $55)
• signed up to join MPA as a member -you can join MPA as an official/volunteer for free here (choose the Modern Pentathlon Queensland button and then choose Modern Pentathlon Australia)  

What you'll do:

As a structured, competitive sport, the role of our officials is to:

• Ensure a safe experience for athletes and spectators
• Enforce UIPM obstacle and laser run rules for athletes as fairly as possible
• Provide a positive and inclusive community experience for athletes, spectators and other officials

What support you'll receive on the day:

• Check in and out from your shift with the Spartan Crew Co-ordinator
• Free Bag Check 
• Access to Spartan Crew catering 
• Officiating support from highly experienced UIPM- and FISO-qualified officials
